COVID-19:
WHY THIS WORK MATTERS NOW
In these uncertain times, we look for ways forward. Now more than ever, our work at Practice Progress remains critical.
COVID-19 has revealed how the history of systemic racism impacts health outcomes for individuals and communities. BIPOC are dying at increased rates from the disease, incarcerated and homeless populations are in dire threat, undocumented folks are stranded without care, and the poor at large are risking their lives for a daily sustaining paycheck (The Pandemic Seems to Be Hitting People of Color the Hardest, Kendi, The Atlantic). Now is the time to better equip ourselves and our communities with anti-racist tools, understanding, and action to ensure a more just and equitable future.
To add Practice Progress to your upcoming programming, please reach out by emailing us or by using the contact form below, as we are currently booking for summer, fall and beyond. If you are looking for guest lecturers or workshops to add to this semester to augment distance learning, we have space in our current schedule available.
Since the life of this pandemic is still very much in flux, all bookings can be converted to distance learning whenever necessary to ensure an uninterrupted delivery of services regardless of what the future holds.
